8. App Features and Data Usage

Arista Cyber Cop includes security-focused features designed to help protect your device and digital activities. Each feature processes limited data strictly for security, analysis, and user-initiated protection purposes.

8.1 Scan Apps

This feature reviews installed applications by analyzing package metadata such as app name, package identifier, and declared permissions to identify potential security risks. The app does not monitor activity inside other applications or access personal content. All analysis is performed locally on the device.

8.2 Document Verifier

When a user uploads a document for verification, the file is processed to perform integrity and security checks. Documents are used solely for verification purposes and are not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated processing.

8.3 Xplora (Phone & URL Check)

This feature evaluates submitted phone numbers or URLs to generate safety assessments and risk indicators. The information is used exclusively to provide security insights and enhance user protection.

8.4 Scan Matrix

Scan Matrix uses Android’s Storage Access Framework (SAF) to analyze only user-selected folders. The app does not access, scan, or monitor device storage outside the locations explicitly chosen by the user.

8.5 Call Protection

If enabled, this feature processes incoming phone numbers to display risk alerts. The app does not record phone calls, access call audio, or store call conversations.

8.6 APK Analyzer

The APK Analyzer reviews APK files manually selected by the user to detect potential security risks before installation. Only the selected file is processed, and no unrelated files or storage areas are accessed.

9. Data Usage Commitment

We do not sell, rent, or share feature-related data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes. All data processing is limited strictly to providing security-related functionality within the app.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of Arista indicates acceptance.
